THE
GIBSON BRADLEY
F O U N D A T I O N

What sports do you like to play?” That was always his opening line when meeting new people. At the age of three, he could throw a ball up and hit it with a bat for distances that defied his size. He could swim from the time he was two. He could gather and lead a group of neighbors into a game of whatever as easily as he could charm a room of adults. As a natural athlete, he was up for any physical challenge. He loved soccer, basketball, football, ping pong, and baseball. He learned to shoot, ski, boogie board, and dance at camp. He made friends easily and always sought to find acommon bond, a shared passion, and a basis for understanding. He saw the world as a social place and human connection as a social good. When the world lost Gibson Bradley in a tragic car accident, a bright light was almost extinguished. Almost. The family and friends of Gibson Bradley simply could not let that light go out. As a result, the Gibson Bradley Foundation was created.
The loss of a child is one of the most devastating events in the life any family. Overwhelming financial considerations
should not add to that devastation. The foundation works with funeral homes to find and fulfill some of the financial needs associated with laying a child to rest. Needless to say, fundraising must be a huge part of our efforts.
